The 1st Annual General Meeting for Logistics International Network (L.I.N.K.) Africa![]()

Mitchell Cotts Freight hosted the 1st Annual General Meeting for L.I.N.K. Africa on Tuesday 2nd March 2010 at Sarova Whitesands in Mombasa. The Global L.I.N.K. presence is represented in 60 countries worldwide out of which 7 members are from Africa.
The forum saw members from 13 countries in attendance. These included the hosts Mitchell Cotts Freight from Kenya, as well L.I.N.K. members in the African continent from Egypt, Ghana, Nigeria, South Africa and Tunisia. The forum was also graced by L.I.N.K. Directors from four countries specifically, United Arab Emirates, Germany, the Netherlands and Hong Kong. Also present were prospective members from Uganda, Burkina Faso and Senegal.
On the evening of 1st March 2010, Mitchell Cotts Freight hosted a cocktail and dinner in honour of her guests. The guest list comprised not only the LINK members but also Mitchell Cotts local business partners and clients. This was an opportunity for all the guests to meet and interact prior to the actual meeting.
The Annual General Meeting gave members a forum to discuss ideas on how business can be increased within the continent. Prospective members from Uganda, Senegal and Burkina Faso also made their presentations with the aim of getting approvals to become new members.
The 1st Annual General Meeting for LINK Africa was a huge success, with all members agreeing that there was great potential for business growth in Africa and that the group had a common goal of working together so as to reap the huge benefits of our partnerships.
